William C. Parrish

Salineville - William C. Parrish, 70, died Tuesday morning at his home on Hazel Run Road surrounded by his family.

He was born November 21, 1940 in Aliquippa, Pa., a son of the late Dale and Martha Mutkus Parrish.

William lived most of his live in the Salineville area working for 15 years as a machinist at Sekeley’s Tool and Die of Salem, Ohio.

He was a very private person who loved to ride his four wheeler at his home.

William will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years, Sarah Willis Parrish at home; two sons, William Charles Parrish Jr., and John (Jocelyn) Parrish; two daughters, Terri (Steve) Homan, and Sue (Dave) Grace all of Salineville; six brothers, Albert (Debbie) Parrish of East Palestine, Harry (Ruth) Parrish of Texas, Oscar (Joyce) Parrish of Mechanicstown, Robert Parrish of Toronto, Ray (Nancy) Parrish of Wellsville, George Parrish of Hammondsville; one sister, Bertha Stacey of Wisconsin; ten grandchildren, Steve Homan, Sara Echols, William Charles Parrish III, David Grace, Emily Grace, Brooke Echols, Skilar Parrish, Myleah Parrish, Camron Wood, and Kendall Wood; and five great grandchildren, Steven William Homan III, Olivia Homan, Zoey Echols, Chloe Echols and Kassidy Echols.

William was preceded in death by one sister Sharon Allen and one granddaughter Amanda Parrish.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville with Pastor Paul Sturm officiating.

Burial will be in the Parrish Family Private Cemetery immediately following the service.

Family and friends may call at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
