Renate F. Rowe

Salineville -- Renate F. Rowe, 73, of Lincoln Street, died Saturday morning at the Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.

She was born March 12, 1938 in Heildelberg, West Germany a daughter of the late Johann and Mina Welker Ruckenmann and has lived here since 1965 coming from Canton.

Prior to her retirement she had been employed as a tile selector for Summitville Tile. She was a member of the Salineville Church of Christ, the Women’s Auxiliary of the John Adams Post #442 American Legion, and had been a member of the Salineville Bowling League for 30 years.

Renate is survived by four sons, David Lyle Rowe, Jr. of Salineville, Daniel Karl (Lori) Rowe of Salem, Michael Milton Rowe of Salineville, and James Scott (Michelle) Hart of Salineville; three daughters, Helma (William) Craig of Salineville, Darlene Elizabeth Rowe of Salineville, and Lorraine (Jerry) Smith of Carrollton; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Weimer of the Living Faith Church in Salem officiating.

Burial will be in Mechanicstown Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m.
