Judy Norton

Salineville - Judy Norton, 63, of Walnut Ridge Road died early Saturday evening at her home with her loving family at her side.

She was born May 7, 1948 in Jonesville, VA, a daughter of the late Albin and Emily Kinder Rigsby.

Judy lived most of her life in the Salineville area . She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her grandbabies. She enjoyed reading and doing crafts, and looked forward to working for the toy drive.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 36 years Ernest Norton at home; five daughters, Barbara Bates of Salem, Lola (William) Javens of Hammondsville, Jennifer (Matthew) Shamp of Salem, Samantha (Michael Mitchell) Kaiser of Kingsport , Tennessee, and Frankie (Kriska) Evans of Morgantown, North Carolina; one son, Ernest Clark (Jessica) Norton of Green Cove Springs, Florida; two sisters , Patricia (Roger) Kreps of Lisbon, Gladys (Paul) Davis of Salineville; nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Albin Rigsby Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 1:00 PM at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville with Pastor Pat Smith of the Salineville United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM on Tuesday until the time of service.
