John S. Beadle

Salineville- John Beadle, 88, of Salineville Road West, died Thursday evening at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown.
He was born March 14, 1922 in Salineville, Ohio, a son of the late Fred and Inez Hirst Beadle.

John was a veteran of the United States Army and lived for over thirty-four years in Arizona retiring from the Motorola Co. He attended the Salineville Assembly of God Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ida Melhorn Beadle; one daughter, Nancy (Edson) Brenay of Salineville; one step brother Charles (Barbara) McCullough of East Liverpool; two nephews, Ron (Karin) Lewis of Phoenix, Arizona and Rick Hull of Canton; two nieces, Cathy (Alex) Cikra of Hartville, Ohio and Rhonda (Jim) Howman of Chandler, Arizona.

John was preceded in death by three sisters, Martha Hull, Mary Young, and Jeanne Boswell; three step sisters, Shirley Hannon, Gloria Davenport and Marylou and one step brother, Lawrence McCullough.

Services will be held, Monday at 11:00 AM at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville with Pastor Rodney Ohler of the Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the American Legion John Adams Post 442 Honor Guard.

Family and friends may call Sunday evening 6-8 PM at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville.
