James Keith Ketchum Sr.

Salineville- James Keith Ketchum Sr., 57, of St. Rte. 644 passed away suddenly Monday evening at 10:25 PM at Salem Community Hospital.

He was born March 23, 1953 in Canton, Ohio a son of the late Frank and Arlene Saccucci Ketchum.

James lived all his life in the Salineville area working as a truck driver and at one time owning a lumber company. James enjoyed life, loved people and many will remember his contagious laugh and how he enjoyed teasing everyone.

He is survived by his wife Mary Todd Ketchum at home; one son, James Ketchum Jr. of Salineville; one daughter, Tessa McClellan of Salineville; four step-sons, Frank, Brian, and Tony Ketchum all of Salineville, and Tracy Ketchum of Lisbon; six brothers, David (Gurlene) Ketchum, John (Janet) Ketchum, Bill (Gwen) Ketchum, Alvin (SueAnn) Ketchum, Paul (Lorri) Ketchum all of Salineville, and Jeff(Maria) Ketchum of Wellsville; one sister, Phyllis (Mick) Cronin of Hammondsville; three grandchildren, James Ketchum III, Dalton and Jacob McClellan; four step grandchildren, Sonny, Frankie, Britney and Brianna Ketchum and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Warren Ketchum Sr., and one sister Darlene Sue Martin. Services will be held Friday, February 25, at 11:00 AM at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home with Pastor David Manley of the Salineville Church of Christ officiating.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kerr- Pastore Funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
