Dean L. Leishman

Salineville - Dean L. Leishman, 87, of Salineville Road West died early Wednesday morning at Salem Community Hospital.

He was born July 1, 1923 in Salineville, Ohio the son of the late George and Mary McClellan Leishman.

Dean graduated from high school and lived all his life in this area working as a grinder at TRW in Minerva. He attended Kensington Christian Church. He enjoyed working on and repairing electrical motors, and was an avid bicyclist.

Dean will be sadly missed by his wife Eileen Madison Leishman who he married in 1945; one son Gary (Debbie) Leishman of Gahanna, Ohio; one daughter Karen Cheuvront of Salineville; grandchildren, Cherie (Nathan) Pugh of Marysville, OH, Jarrin (Sara) Cheuvront of Carrolton, OH, Collette (Thomas) Frank of Salem, OH, Allan Leishman of Gahanna, OH; great grandchildren, Shayleigh, Ethan, and Kyleigh Pugh of Marysville, Boaz, Jakin, and Creed Cheuvront of Carrolton, and Jennavieve, Julia and Landon Frank of Salem.

Services will be held at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville on Saturday at 11:00 AM with Lloyd Campbell of the Kensington Christian Church officiating.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home in Salineville Friday 1-4 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
