Darlene Gay Parrish

Salineville- Darlene Gay Parrish, 70, died Wednesday evening at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was born July 31, 1941 in East Liverpool, a daughter of the late Robert and Eva Halfhill Bidwell.

Darlene lived all her life in the Salineville area. She was a devoted wife and mother and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a member of the Salineville Lion’s Club

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 52 years, George Parrish at home; four sons, Tim (Tricia) Parrish, Scott (Julie) Parrish, Robert (Linda) Parrish, George (Jenny) Parrish all of Salineville; two daughters, Peggy (Don) Smith of Salineville, Lisa (William) Board of Irondale; six sisters, Cindy (Robert) LeMasters of Salineville, Joyce (Oscar) Parrish of Salineville, Belma (Keith) Hamilton of Wellsville, Donna Thrasher of Wellsville, Rebecca (Greg) Post of East Liverpool, Bonnie (Dean) Gaines of East Liverpool; two brothers Robert (Marlynn) Bidwell, Ronnie (Teresa) Bidwell both of Salineville; twenty-four grandchildren, Zach, Scott (Bubby), Tim, Jessie, Ashton, Clifton, Tabatha, Chad, Corey, Alisha, Michael, Samantha, Justin, Susan, Nolan, Candence, Georgia, Presleigh Parrish; Tom, Alicia, Dale Board; and Donny and Meagan Smith; and 22 great grandchildren.

Darlene was preceded in death by a grandson, Christopher Parrish.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, at 11:00 AM at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Smith of the Salineville Methodist Church officiating.

Family and friends may call at the Kerr-Pastore Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
